Jon Brown graduated from Vancouver Film School in 2006 after studying traditional and Flash animation. He found gainful employment in television production doing layout, prop design, animation, storyboards, and digital clean-up for a variety of clients in Vancouver, BC and Milwaukee. He has done freelance animation for a variety of independent production companies as well as television commercials, web animation, logo design, caricatures, and advertising campaigns.
He is now a Resident Artist at Redline Gallery in Milwaukee where he is working on a series of murals and an independent animated short. He teaches 2D and Flash animation at MIAD, Alverno, and the Art Institute of Wisconsin.
