TIMELINE, featuring RedLine Milwaukee’s emerging resident artists, is a presentation of work from the past year of their residency, and explores many disciplines that inform contemporary art and media.  RedLine Milwaukee’s innovative residency program and the annual TIMELINE exhibition are at once a sound platform from which to examine the critical issues facing contemporary artists and an exciting venue in which to experiment with the creative process.  Included in this years’s exhibition are Melanie Ariens, Aneesha Baldeosingh, Nina Ghanbarzadeh, Carly Huibregtse, Stefani Quam, Jeff Redmon, Natalie Schmitting, Skully Skyrocket, Lindsey weigel, and Nicki Werner.

Existentialism, the inaugural exhibition for RedLine Milwaukee’s teen residency program, presents work by six young artists who are devoted to the prospect of living authentically through self-awareness, inquiry, and autonomy.  Pressure printing, monotyping, screenprinting, painting, and mixed media are employed to relate “thinking about thinking.” Mindfulness and experiments in technique inform the majority of the work.  The teen residents are Jesus Hilario, Ellis Kalkoske, Aaron Misuckant, Nadia Peppler, Lily Solheim, and Nia Wilson.
