WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR HAITI?  Make art.  make a difference.  On Wednesday February 24, 5-7pm, the RedLine Printshop will host a drop-in printmaking event to benefit the Red Cross Haiti Relief and Developmetn fun.  Come for screenprinting and relief cut demos and create your own poster to take home.  Screenprinted posters by local artists also for sale.  Proceeds go to Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development fund.

Closing Event: Cash and carry for Amos Kennedy Friday, March 5 AND Sat. March 6, 10-5pm.

Introduction to SCREENPRINTING, a four session class on basic Screenprinting techniques being offered 6:00-9:00pm on Mondays in February (2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22).  $75, pre-registration required, limit 8 people.
 
Drop-in Community Workshop: Handmade VALENTINES
Friday February 5, from 6:00 until 9:00pm.  Come anytime to create unique and handmade Valentines for OR with your loved ones!  No registration required, materials provided for up to three valentines.  $10 per person at the door.

Printshop Orientation for OPEN STUDIO ACCESS
Interested in coming in to use the printshop to work on your own printmaking projects?  Come to our next orientation on Thursday February 4 at 6pm to learn how Open Studio Access works.  Can't make it to this one?  We host an orientation the first Thursday of every month at 6pm, or contact us to set up a time that works for you.

Pre-register for classes and workshops by sending payment via paypal on the donate page of our website (www.redlineartmke.org), please put the name of the class in the message; or by sending a check with the name of the class in the memo to: RedLine (1422 N. 4th St., Milwaukee WI 53212)  Payments must be RECEIVED by no later than one week before the class begins.  No refunds unless classes are cancelled.  E-mail the printshop for more information or to find out if space is still available.().

Print Shop Program

RedLine's in house print shop is dedicated to offering Milwaukee a traditional printmaking facility, fully equipped for intaglio, callograph, relief, monoprint, silkscreen and photo lithography, and educational support for a diverse audience. Fostering a better understanding of these traditional yet highly experimental printmaking processes, the print shop will be RedLine's catalyst and venue for artists to cross the line that separates their individual disciplines.
