Mission:

Gallery exhibitions are our foundation, functioning as the “textbook” for education and residency programs. RedLine exhibitions feature socially relevant content aimed at bringing together a diverse community to create a living, breathing social experiment.

We present four major exhibitions annually, featuring local, regional, national, and international artists, with a focus on sparking conversation around socially relevant issues. Each July, the TIMELINE exhibition highlights the accomplishments and hard work of our Resident Artists and Mentors.

Visiting Artists serve to mentor the entire RedLine community.  The Exhibition content informs the programming in the printshop for the community. RedLine’s exhibition gallery is open to the public for free on Thursdays 10-7, and Fridays and Saturdays from 10-3.

Selection Process:

At this time, RedLine Milwaukee’s exhibitions are invite-only. Our Exhibitions Committee meets quarterly to review suggestions made by committee members and vote on which artists to offer exhibitions. Due to the amount of planning that goes into each exhibition, RedLine’s exhibition calendar is scheduled 2 years in advance.
